Particle is an unconventional way for electric vehicle charging. It is made of one base station with multiple charging robots. These robots can easily locate the vehicles that requested the charging service, using the arm to charge the vehicles themselves.

The gold finishing gives Particle a distinct look in a large parking garage, whether indoor or outdoor. Particle can work in all kinds of conditions. With several sensors and cameras around, Partical can reach every corners in a large parking facility.

The light bars at both ends are the gates for communication. Different colors and animations will show up in different situations. For example, a gradient green indicates the charging status and the remaining time.

Particle robot has four independent wheels. Each of them has their own motor and steering system, allowing flexible movements. The large diameter of these wheels ensures the passing ability under multiple road situations such as pits, bumps, and even gravel trails.

The charging arm is folded on top when not charging. The modular battery can be removed from top, supporting quick battery swap under heavy charging requests.

Each robot has its own station for recharging. It will come back to the station during nights or standby mode. The station comes with ultra fast charging ability, allowing quick re-fuel of empty battery for continuing EV charging services.

The Particle charging service can be ordered through the app at any time. The robot will locate the vehicle through license plates, chip communications, or sensors in the parking facilities. Then it will move to the back of the vehicle and prepare the charging process.

The Particle robot will communicate with the vehicle such as opening the charging port panel. The arm will adjust positions with sensors at the end to fit different vehicles, whether the charging port is at the front or back, left or right. When the vehicle is charged at the desired percentage, the Particle robot will disconnect and leave automatically, no need for the owner to come back.

The Particle robot can also hold parking spots up to 30 minutes prior to your arrival. Just simply order the charging service ahead, the robot will then find an empty spot and guide you upon arrival. This will provide an even smoother EV charging experience, no more driving around for packed charging stations.
